The Land

Rotational grazing across 710 acres keeps our pastures healthy and productive. Our cows' movement promotes diverse plant growth that captures carbon from the atmosphere and stores it in the soil where it belongs. 
Protecting the Watershed

The Water

Every drop counts. We conserve water starting with wells and field ponds for storage. Water from creamery sanitation is then used in a closed-loop wash system on the dairy floor, recycling multiple times before it leaves the property. Conservation isn't an afterthought—it's a tenet of our business.

Our Animals

Healthy, happy cows produce better milk. We use robotic milkers that let our herd set their own schedule, reducing stress while giving us real time health data on every animal. Better for them means better for us.

Eco-Friendly Shipping

Every Point Reyes gift pack and cheese order ships in recyclable and compostable materials. Our boxes are cardboard, our insulation is paper-based and our ice packs are plant-based and drain-safe, ensuring that our sustainability commitment extends all the way to your front door. 
Removing Carbon

Our Planet

Through our methane digester, regenerative grazing program, and solar power installations at both locations, we remove approximately 550,000 pounds of CO₂ annually from the atmosphere. While we are proud of this achievement, we view it as just one step in our broader commitment to advancing environmental stewardship and pursuing even greater sustainability outcomes in the years ahead.
